- Download the OAK Cryptoinstaller from your broker’s website or download an official demo version from OAKCrypto.com.
- Run the downloaded file, it will start downloading the OAK Crypto:

- Wait for the installer to download all necessary files. (A restart may be required to complete the installation process.)
- OAK Crypto will start automatically right after the installation. You can also access OAK Crypto from the desktop icon or the Start menu.

Installation and Update Troubleshooting #
OAK Crypto desktop app installer requires minimal interaction from the user and allows the application to update automatically.
If you have any troubles when installing OAK Crypto , make sure you turn off your antivirus software.
If after installation the application does not work properly or fails to update, please perform a clean installation of OAK Crypto and its components.
Clean Installation #
For Windows ⅞/8.1/:
- Close any running instance of OAK Crypto.
- Restart your computer.
- Hold down Windows + R on your keyboard to open the Run dialog box. Copy and paste appwiz.cpl into it and click OK to open the Programs and Features panel.
- Find Blueodt in the list of the installed programs, and uninstall it – select it and click Uninstall/Change).
- Find .NET framework in the list, and uninstall it as well (restart your computer if prompted).
- Hold down Windows + R on your keyboard to open the Run dialog box. Copy and paste
%USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Appsin it, and click OK. - Delete the 2.0 folder and close the Windows Explorer.
- Hold down Windows + R on your keyboard to open the Run dialog box again. Copy and paste
%USERPROFILE%\AppData\Roamingin it, and click OK. - Delete the following folders: Blueodt, %BROKERNAME% OAK Crypto, %BROKERNAME% cAlgo, %BROKERNAME% OAK Crypto Users, %BROKERNAME% -OAK Crypto Common, and close the Windows Explorer.
- In the Windows Start Menu select Documents, and rename cAlgo and OAK Crypto folders (so that you will not lose any user data), then restart your computer.
- Install the latest .NET Framework from the Microsoft official website.
- Restart your computer again.
- Download and install OAK Crypto.
For Windows 10:
- Close any running instance of OAK Crypto.
- Restart your computer.
- Hold down Windows + R on your keyboard to open the Run dialog box, copy and paste appwiz.cpl in it and click OK to open the Programs and Features panel.
- Find OAK Crypto in the list and uninstall it – select it and click Uninstall/Change).
- Hold down Windows + R on your keyboard to open the Run dialog box, copy and paste
%USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Appsinto it, and click OK. - Delete the 2.0 folder and close the Windows Explorer.
- Hold down Windows + R on your keyboard to open the Run dialog box, and enter

- In the Windows Start Menu select Documents, and rename cAlgo and OAK Crypto folders (so that you will not lose any data).
- Restart your computer.
- Launch Microsoft .NET Framework Repair Tool.
- Download and install OAK Crypto.
